Hi Crystal!
You see my e-mails and you answer them right away with much care and concern. I did my workout yesterday, immediately upon my return home from work I was tired, but thought to myself, “I must do this!” My upper arms have become flabby…I must tone up there. My hips, butt, thighs and abs also need work.
You’re so inspirational and you know how to make people feel a heck of a lot better about themselves. Thanks for your willingness to help!

Hi Crystal,
This is so exciting! I can’t believe how fast weight training changes you. If I didn’t experience it for myself, I probably wouldn’t believe it! I’ve now lost 37.5 pounds! People still can’t believe I still weigh so much and look smaller.
I’m doing well with the hanging abs (Today I did 2 sets of 15 of the bent knee and 2 sets of 5 of the straight legged ones!)When my arms are relaxed, I want people to say: “Wow, look at her arms!!” I’m not going to give up until I give it my best shot! I still have a lot of sizes to lose, so I have plenty of time.
It’s so nice of you to check up on me, and so many others. I don’t know how you do it!

Hi Crystal,
Thank you so much for replying to me. Your new pictures look wonderful! You were even brave enough and buff enough to wear the 2-piece bathing suit. It is wonderful that you are progressing with your instructor training. As you get older it becomes more important to be fit. I am honestly not a little old lady. People think I am about 10 or 15 years younger and I see to it that I stay that way and act that way! I vary my routine pretty much.
By the way, I love the forum! It is warm and caring. You are so motivational for everyone and so kind and caring, Crystal, I feel as if I really know you. I am happy for you about your website and your training instructions. Good luck!

Hi!
Thank you so much for the motivation! Since I received your last email, I have worked out every day, weights and cardio! My eating has also been pretty clean. What you said all soaked in, and I have been doing some major reflecting. I told myself that I can lay here and not do what I need to do to get where I want to be, or I could get my lazy buns up and reach for my goals. My stress level has dropped and life has just been easier.
You have really inspired and kept me motivated!

Crystal,
Thanks so much! I always hesitate before I email someone out of the blue, but I have read a lot of your posts and you seemed to know a lot. I am going to print your letter and put it up by my coffee maker (the first place I go in the morning…LOL). I want to do this, but need some inspiration. I am going to take my measurements again and go for seeing some change in inches rather than weight. I will be happy with an inch difference. I have learned it is better to move in small steps.
I have just started taking Tae Kwon Do, so I wanted to do this also to gain some strength in my arms and legs. So, I hope you don’t mind if I drop you a note once in a while to let you know how I’m doing.
Thank you so much for your generosity. I really appreciate it!

Hi Crystal,
Thanks for checking in with me again. I’m still only on the regular workout, but feel confident I’ll be up to the maximum plan in a couple of weeks.
I know I’ve said it before, but your concern and continued support really mean so much to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Crystal,
Thanks so much for e-mailing me. I’d love to chat about progress, expectations, goals, etc. via e-mail with you, if you are willing. I’m out of shape! I consider myself a diet failure. I’ve had lower back pain and have been a couch potato, so that is why my weight is up so high. Since starting weights, I feel good! My lower back pain is much less, and I have more energy.
You’ve done such a GOOD JOB!

Dear Crystal,
I saw you on the website and thought your posts on the forum were(and are)really helpful and kind. I’ve had a lot of life changes. I kept working out and now am on a weight training rotation, doing yoga, and walking for cardio. I just wanted to tell you that I find you and your posts very inspiring . Let me know what your current workout routine is(to give me something to work towards)…I remember just being floored by some of the weights that you can lift! Take care.

Hi Crystal!
Workout?????What’s that? I am sooo bad! I keep telling myself that after my morning devotion I will get to them, but…
You go girl! God certainly packed a big heart in you! Thanks for the contact, Crystal.

Hi again Crystal,
Based on my physical a little over 2 years ago, I am down about 50 lbs. and many inches(maybe 20”)! What has made things work for me is discipline and not going overboard. When I started, I couldn’t make it through some of the sets, but I did as much as I could, every single time. I work out upper or lower body everyday.
I feel if I had started gung-ho like I usually did back in my teens, and 20’s, it eventually would have lead to failure.. I have kept it up all this time and feel I can for life. It is a way of life, not something to be done for a month or two. I’m sure you understand what I’m talking about, because you’ve done it!
